Establish a world-class licensing program in North America to replicate the success experienced in Japan

Strategy:

By leveraging the brand presence across Hasbro’s master toy assortment, Nintendo’s DS game platform, Disney XD for broadcast and mobile apps developed by LEVEL5-abby, Evolution attracted tier one licensees and retailers to take on the brand.

Implementation:

In just under 9 months, Evolution signed deals with and thereafter brand managed 57 AAA licensees across apparel, accessories, home, housewares, novelty, games, toys, tech accessories, collectibles, publishing, paper goods, and HBA.

Results:

In 2016, Evolution was named the North American licensing agency for the Japanese consortium of LEVEL5-abby, Dentsu, TV Tokyo, and Nintendo for a boys anime series. Since, brand placed at all key retailers with multi-licensee dedicated shelf space and promotional endcaps / in-aisle feature space at Walmart, Target, and Barnes & Noble among others. Strategic marketing programs implemented at all GameStop stores with exclusive GWP and rebates for merchandise purchases.
